In the U.S. and Canada, its common for guests of young children’s birthday parties to receive a small gift bag of candy, toys and stickers to take home at the end of the party. We call them “goodie bags” or “party favors.” This goodie bag tradition has even made its way to weddings – it’s not uncommon for wedding guests to receive one in their hotel room or at the end of the wedding reception!
